Reserve a Costume

Come by the store and check out our costume inventory. The costumes in our Gallery are just a small selection of our inventory. All items are for rent and can be reserved by filling out a rental agreement, incidentals form and $25 security deposit. Then the rental fee will be paid when costume is picked up.If you would like to take your costume the same day, all fees are due at that time. Rentals are for 3 days. There are no refunds and all sales are final. NOTE: Security deposit will be forfeited if reservation is canceled because we pull the item off the floor and it cannot be rented by anyone else while we hold it for you.

Costume Costs

It depends on the number of pieces rented, but on average our costumes range from $55 – $125, with some rentals as high as $275. Some of our costumes are already put together and priced, but a lot of our costumes are priced by individual separate pieces, so you can make your costume as simple or extravagant as you’d like.

Garment Fit & Sizing

We request that you try on all garments before buying or renting as these items have been used in theatrical productions and may have been altered to fit an actor. Therefore, the size tag in the garment does not necessarily represent the garment’s actual size. Please try on all costumes first- you should try everything on for size as we don’t guarantee fit unless you do. Minor alterations (hemming, pinning, etc.) are provided FREE so your costume is a perfect fit!

Length of Rentals

Our normal rental agreement is for one-time, 72-hour (3 day) use only. For holiday rentals we often extend this time period. Center Stage Clothiers LLC is closed on Sundays & Mondays, so weekend rentals are due back the following Tuesday.         We can provide rental extensions when needed. Theater production rentals are for the run of the show. Call for more details.

Accepted Payments

We accept cash and most credit cards. Sorry we don’t take personal checks. You must be 18 or older and have a valid credit card to rent from Center Stage Clothiers LLC. There is a minimum refundable $25 security deposit required for all rentals. All Renters are required to sign a credit card authorization form that authorizes us to charge your credit card the required replacement fee if rental is damaged or not returned. This form AND your security deposit fee will be given back to you upon approved return of the garment(s). Security deposit will be credited back to the card used at time of rental.

Costume Care

The Renter shall be liable for the cost of repair or replacement of damaged costumes (e.g. make-up, excess soil, rips, etc.) or missing costume parts. Damage or replacement charges are not limited to the security deposit. The security deposit will be returned when costume is returned on time and in acceptable condition.

Fees & Legal Info

If you cancel your rental or do not pick up by the rental pick up date, you will forfeit your $25 security deposit, as we have held your rental off the floor and were unable to rent to anyone else. Also if your rental is more than 24 hours late without contacting us, you will forfeit your $25 rental deposit. If your rental is more than 5 days late – without any communication – you will forfeit your $25 deposit and be charged the replacement value of the garments. By signing the credit authorization form, any renter who does not return the rented merchandise has authorized Center Stage Clothiers LLC to charge their credit card for the replacement value of all items rented in the rental agreement. All reasonable attorney fees and court cost incurred in the enforcement of the terms of the rental agreement are the responsibility of the renter signing the rental agreement.

You should also understand that some costumes may impair vision, mobility and be hazardous around heat or open flame. You must accept responsibility for your own personal safety and well being.
